About Us

The Fusion Art Group is an international creative company at the intersection of art, culture, and technology. We’re building global products and programs and are now hiring our first People Ops Lead in the Philippines—responsible for building the global team.

You will work directly with the Founder to set the rails for how we hire, onboard, and deliver—calm, consistent, no drama. This role can grow into a key operator in a truly global team (PH/EU/US).

How We Work (Mindset & Methods)

  • We learn the rules, then design smarter, leaner, AI assisted workflows.
  • We automate to the max (Airtable/Sheets + AI + Zapier/Make + scripts) without losing control or quality—and we keep a clean audit trail

You Own the People Ops process.
It’s an honor and a responsibility: you define the flow, enforce standards, and sign off.

You’re Supported.
You’ll have access to an expert AI & automation pod (internal/partners) to help you design and implement efficient workflows.

If your default is the “old way” (heavy manual steps, slow hand offs, zero iteration), this role won’t be a fit.

What You’ll Do
Own recruiting:
write scorecards, run a lightweight ATS (Airtable/Sheets), screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and conduct reference checks.
Own contracts & policy: prepare NDA, IP assignment, and no side gigs clauses; maintain the Code of Conduct and a basic PH handbook (contractor/employee).
Own onboarding: deliver a 5 day onboarding (tools access, expectations, deliverables); set up time & deliverables tracking and access management. Own the weekly delivery rhythm: run weekly demos, standups, and RAG (red/amber/green) status; follow up to keep execution on track.
Compliance & docs: keep personnel files, contract renewals, and policy acknowledgements clean and current; maintain naming/version discipline. Support global ops: coordinate time zones (PH/EU/US), schedule windows, manage internal comms and calendar hygiene.
Mission support: assist our non profit activities with a basic volunteer policy and jury/conflict of interest guidelines.

Must Haves

  • 3+ years People Ops/HR experience in the Philippines, including contractor/employee agreements.
  • Global experience working with Europe/US teams (time zones, documentation, expectations).
  • Strong English (written/spoken); clear, professional communication.
  • Hands on with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and basic ATS/tracking (Airtable/Sheets/Notion).
  • Automation mindset: you design processes to be AI/automation assisted by default (Airtable/Sheets formulas, AI prompts, Zapier/Make, basic scripts) with clear audit trails.
  • Owner mentality: confidentiality, integrity, loyalty—trusted with sensitive data; you keep calm under pressure and follow through.
  • Availability to start at 50% and scale to 75–100% quickly as we grow.
  • Conflict of interest & exclusivity compliant: no recruiting for our competitors/clients; when full time, no side gigs.

Nice to Have

  • Early stage startup experience (0→10 hires, fast documentation).
  • Exposure to non profits/volunteer policies; basic understanding of contractor payroll coordination.
  • Familiarity with BambooHR/Rippling/Zoho People or similar HRIS.

What We Offer

  • 50% contract with a fast path to 75–100% as we scale.
  • Remote first with reasonable EU/US overlap.
  • A chance to build the operating system for a global team from the ground up.
  • High trust, craft driven culture; clear ownership of People Ops.
  • Growth path into a key operator role; future equity may be considered for long term, outstanding performance.

What Success Looks Like (first 30–60 days)

  • Recruiting ready: scorecards, candidate tracker/ATS live; 10–20 screened candidates in pipeline.
  • Contracts & policy live: NDA, IP, no side gigs clauses; Code of Conduct; PH handbook v0.1.
